Instructional & Testing Accommodations

Here, all of the specific accommodations* that a student will receive when testing is necessary are listed. For each accommodation a brief explanation is given on how it will be used within the classroom or during a testing situation.

The areas where a student can receive accommodations include (but are not limited to):

  • response (scribe)

  • timing

  • scheduling (extended time or breaks)

  • setting (having reduced distractions)

One important component of accommodations; just because an accommodation is available, does not necessarily mean that it can be implemented with your student. The accommodation HAS to directly aid with the areas the student's exceptionality effects in relation to their academic performance.
